Golden Cheetah will export a .csv with ALL the data fields for ALL the activities available in its library. When importing to Bereda, make sure you select the appropriate columns for training load and hours.
1. In Golden Cheetah’s toolbar, click on Tools -> Export Metrics as CSV…
2. A window will pop up and you can select where you’d like to save the file. Enter a name for the file and click save.
3.) Take the workouts.csv file and drag it into your Bereda screen.
4.) And drop it in the dotted box. Keep in mind that you can drag in multiple files to cover multiple years of data.
5.) Set the fields to the corresponding columns in the .csv. Note that in Golden Cheetah, there are multiple options for training load metrics. Choose the one used to evaluate training. Additionally, the time in Golden Cheetah is measured in seconds. If you select “hours”, the weekly time and intensity values will be incorrect.
6.) Seed the start of your data with the Fitness (CTL) number Bereda asks for. Find this on your Golden Cheetah PMC. Then click the “CREATE” button!
7.) Voila! Bereda recreates your PMC, showing weekly Training Loads, but also weekly intensity and hours.
8.) After that, you can start splitting your past weeks into mesocycles to see how things like intensity and ramp rate changed throughout your previous years.
