We made an update to the options available in the “AppBar” when you’re working inside a plan:
With these updates, we thought it would be a good time to quickly point out what all these options are and how they can be used to get the most out of Bereda.
Undo / Redo Buttons
Ever make a manual edit you didn’t like? Don’t worry, you can undo it by using the undo button. On top of that, if you wanted to make a change, and then go back and forth to compare scenarios, you can achieve that by using the undo and redo buttons in combination.
Add Event Icon
Going back to the Overview to enter new Events is a bit of a drag, so we added an option to add new events directly on the Training Load tab! A “New Event” modal will pop up when you click this where you can enter all the standard details.
Couple this feature with the (already existing) ability to click the event markers on the plan to open up the event’s details, and you have everything you need to manage events directly from the Training Load tab: add, edit, and delete (found in the top right corner of the editing modal).
Now, the only time you’ll have to go back to the Overview is to change the Settings, something that might be changed in the next few weeks… 😉
Share Plan Feature
This has existed for a little while but was only available on the Overview Tab. Now, it’s conveniently available on all tabs.
When you click it, you have the ability send a copy of the plan to any of your athlete accounts. It’s also possible to move a copy of a plan from an athlete account to any other athlete account, or to your main account.
This feature can be particularly handy for coaches with athletes that have multiple athletes with very similar schedules. They can make a “Master Plan” with the common schedule meaning they only have to enter the events once and then add a general Fitness (CTL) progression and periodization before distributing the plan and making individualized adjustments.
Pretty self-explanatory, just click the trash can 😉
There’s also another way to delete plans (and other items like athletes, events, and training periods). If you navigate out of the plan using the back-left arrow in the top-left corner of the plan, you’ll see a trash can icon next to the “Create New Plan” button.
This enables a bulk delete option, which can save you a ton of time when you’re trying to clean up your Bereda account. After clicking the icon, just select the items you want to delete before confirming that you want to delete the batch.
Again, this same feature is available on the Events, Training Periods, and Athletes pages.
